Newbie saying hello and asking for MkV GT tdi buying advice please

Hello, im new, well i say im new 43 actually. New here. I'm usually looking through the vzi forums as i've been into aircooled forever. I've owned several golfs MKI's II and III's from dailies to tuned VR6's. I currently drive a Audi A8 that i'm selling shortly to buy a MKV GT TDi. Just thought i'd say hello.

Anything to look out for on a 08 Gt with 38k on? What's the service interval's, cam belt oil etc?

Hi mate welcome to the site, mk5 golf, great car, now down to business, at 38k it will prob only have been serviced once, if it was me id not bother with the long life service as 20k between oil changes is not good, i change mine every 8/10k, and i give it a full service everytime, now even tho the fuel and air filters are normally ok i just replace them, cambelt now some say 60 to 90k bit of a gray area tbh, just looked on auto data and it says 80k
