I need a definative answer to this one, I have a 02plate b6 saloon and my ARBs have seen better days i've been told that i can replace them with RS4 ARBs but when i phoned audi parts where i am the bird on the end of the phone said she didnt know if they would fit as the b6 RS4 was only released as an avant and mine being a saloon she was reluctant to sell them as they would be non returnable if theyre wrong
so anyone know for sure if the RS4 avant bars fit all b6's?
cheers in advance for anyone whos got the answer.

The B7 RS4 was available as a saloon and avant, I think the front ARB's are the same the rears are thicker, I have the rear on mine....

You'll also find that there never has been a B6 RS4 so what the girl knew was not worth knowing.
Stick with the forum boys , as Kite says above he has the rear and there are a couple of other members using them on the rear to lose a bit of the inherrant understeer

All the fronts are the same and you deffo want the rs4 bar at the rear. should come with a warning about the transformation to the handling. ihave one also

got my rs4 roll bar yesterday and along with it i got some bushes for the standard 16mm roll bar, not very usefull really lol
the part list on that link in this thread is slightly wrong, instead of the bushes with the suffix "A" on the part number it should be a "D" so the part numbers are thus:

8E0 511 409 AL - Stabilizer

8E0 511 327 D - bushes x2

8E0 511 439 - clips x2

just incase anyone else was thinking of buying useless bushes instead of the more practical, correct ones.
typically the arrival of the correct bushes this morning has coincided with what can only be described as an onslaught of rain, guess ill put up with flabby cornering for a few more days.....

ok just to let you know i fitted the bar last night and frankly everybody on all the forums that claims it improves the handeling 100% is well......... spot on! it now handles flatter than keira Knightley on holiday in holland at a steamroller convention, every corner is dead level the difference is astounding.
Also if (unlike me) you have the correct tools for the job it is really really easy to do. If like myself you dont have the right tools its a bit fiddly but still not hard, well worth it! cheers lads!

oh yeah also the rs4 bar and bits comes out at the same price or just slightly cheaper than the standard 16mm bar, if you change the bar cos its worn and you just buy the 16mm one..... You actually need to be sectioned lol
