please help! where is 02 sensor bank 1 sensor 2 on A4 1.6 2001?

hi there, we are new to the audi world! just got ourselves the above car, and engine management light came on. diagnosed fault code P1118. also got the numbers 17526 (dont know what this means!) does anyone know where this sensor is located as we are hoping to replace it ourselves. any help much appreciated. thanks in anticipation.:confused:

Is this an 8D or 8E series A4 (look at the chassis number, wauzzz8D or 8E ?) and what is the cars engine type code? The car only has one bank and sensor 2 is the one behind the catalyst.

hi thanks for responses. the car is an 8D, as you have told us the sensor is behing the catalyst we can replace it now. can i just ask, do you mean it is after the catalyst as you go towards the back of the car?
