First post guys so go easy on me.
Just returned from a week in Devon, covering a total of 850 miles, averaging 52.1 mpg.Did the 300 mile return leg last night without taking off cruise control until I hit the end of the motorway.Im absolutely delighted with this car having purchased it in January.Been worried reading other posts with it having the dodgy engine code, but no complaints so far.

No doubt its the best car Ive ever owned, although my last car caught fire ( citroen picasso !).The 2.0 tdi engine(55 b7) is a dream to drive, and easily took all the hills in North devon fully loaded without missing a beat.
Most people who post are asking for help with issues, so thought it good to pass on some good news for once - this is a great car:biglaugh:

Glad to hear :0) and welcome to the site, i find there good of fuel to on motorways, just a bit thirsty round towns but then they are a big car, would your north Devon road be the one from j27 of the m5 heading to Barnstable? that is one road that uses all your engines torque when the cars fully loaded :)

Thanks for the welcolme Winnie.Yes thats the one, seems to go on forever.Ive never managed to get into the overtaking lane up the hills in the past, but found myself having to slow down having reached 80mph in 5th without realising :)
