Hi. I have a 2005 s line 2ltr tdi 140. The suspension has become abit crashy over bumps, pot holes, man holes and un even surfaces. Has quite a thud from the suspension. It's only started to do it this last 10,000 miles or so. It comes and goes though. It seems to be fine when roads are wet. Takes all of the above quite smoothly and quietly. I know s line suspension is quite harsh anyway, but this seems worse. I'm assuming something is worn and needs replaced. Maybe something needs greased due to the fact it's fine with wet roads.
Any help with what might need replaced and rough costs?
Thanks

Have you checked to see how the car sits on a flat road? Is it lower in any one corner?
Mine was like this recently and was sat lower on offside rear. Found a broken rear spring which is not uncommon. Got both replaced at an independant garage for £200 (using OEM springs @ £80/each).
Hope that helps.

Thanks.
I have recently put up some pictures of my car, all seems pretty flat to me but I will check. Seems strange though it's ok when wet, might point at something might need lubed.

If its not something like a broken spring then the other likely cause is work antirollbar bushes or suspension top mounts.
