A4 Brake lights

I have this weird problem, where my brake lights at time says its not working.

I can be driving and when i press brakes, i get beep saying left brake light not working, then it sarts working, then i get right light not working and again after while it works and at times both dont work and currently both working ok lol?

before i take to garage and pay bucks, is there anything i can do to fix myself quickly?

remove both lamps and clean all the bulb connections

thanks shouldve thought of that lol..ill try that today and leave it to test for week

Or try to replace brake bulb (I had same situation as you and it helped).
