centre console lid?

Hi,

I've just inheredited a 2008 TDi Estate as my company car. Everything is good with it, except for 1 thing! The centre consol doesnt have an arm rest, and as such when I'm on a long journey ny arm keeps falling into the huge storage area! Its annoying and doesnt look nice. Can I get an armrest / lid to suit from anywhere? Anyone know if anything is available? Since its a company car, I dont really want the hassle of changing the whole console?

Bear in mind though unless you have a forearm that has chassis number VW763464097-003.75 it won't fit on the armrest properly :p

If you need to check, your birth certificate should have all your relevant numbers on it, it's the same with cruise control, wrong model finger's and you will struggle, hth :biglaugh:

S model then matey. Try a breakers, ebay, local scrappy etc. I did this about a year ago. Unfortuntately you have to replace the whole centre console. Around a 3 hour job. Good show, nothing worse than finding after fitting you have to nip down for augmentation upgrades is there.;)
