As the delivery date for my new A4 Allroad approaches, I am trying to get the dealer to fit the switch for the hill descent and drive select even though neither is fitted to my car. I just want to get rid of the blanks replacing them with proper switches that illuminate at night.

Anyone would think that I was trying to replace the Audi Rings with the Mercedes Star with the blocks and problems they put in front of me.

Does anyone know who to approach for the switches and ideally, someone to fit them if only because I’m too bone idle to do it myself.

Get the switches from the parts department and tap into the illumination wire from the nearest switch that actually works. Probably the easiest way. Seems a bit daft if they don't actually work though IMO.

Get some white Letraset and mark them as "Ejector Seat", "Number Plates" and "Machine Gun" :p

This is the only type I'd consider and it's genuine due to the German Police :

Well you would chuckle to yourself everytime you got in your car - i can see the appeal. Good luck!. Personally i like the 'funk'.
