Hi All,

Could anybody tell me how much it would be to replace a solenoid in my gearbox? I have a 2004 A4 Multi-tronic Cabriolet displaying the following fault codes:-

CODE001: 17137 P0753 Shift Solenoid A-N88: electrical - Output dose not have a contact short to earth

CODE002: 17134 P0750 Shift Solenoid A-N88: malfunction - Value of resistance too great.

Any help appreciated.

hello GJC , did you have any luck replacing your solenoid ?

i had gearbox fault codes and flashing lights etc , range sensor faulty so I took the ecu out to get it checked at BBA reman , they said there was damage to the ecu and repaired it so i have re fitted it and refilled the oil .
Maybe I havent done the oil fill correctly or maybe there is too much oil in it but now the car takes ages to take off and when it does it tend to give you whip lash , there is occasional judder but not really bad .
I guy at work plugged in and now it is showing faulty solenoid or intermittent fault / signal so perhaps I am going to be in the same situation as yourself very soon.

I will let you know if I find anything
