Hi all,
I'm new to this forum but and my reason for joining is because I'm annoyed. I wanted to ask a question.. Do Audi actually want to sell me a new car??
We own a 3 year old A4 cabriolet and have a new puppy so have made the decision to buy a Q7. On Saturday I called the Walton on Thames branch to find out details and to see if I could speak to a sales person. My call was answered after about a minute of ringing and ringing and I asked my question. I was told that I needed to speak to a sales person (person answering phone was ??) I was told all sales people were busy and asked for my number for someone to call me back when they were free. 2 hours later, no call back.
Saturday afternoon we decided to pop down to the showroom as they were obv busy as no call back. Walked in, not greeted by receptionist staring into space. We wandered around the showroom for half an hour and still not approached so went to the receptionist desk. Waited at least 20 seconds before we were acknowledged!! (he was just staring) we asked to speak to a sales person and was told they're all busy so we said we'd wait. Waited a minute or 2 and receptionist spotted one and said he'd ask him to help us. Came back and said he'd be with us in a minute. 2 or 3 minutes later, over he came carrying and sipping his coffee!! While sipping his coffee he used his head to signal us to a desk (hmm professional...?).
He asked how he could help, took personal details etc and then left us watching him type them in and then fill out manual paperwork as he said he didn't like doing it on the computer??? Filled it all out, inspected our car and then said he'd pass on all details to the salesman who sold us the car 3 years ago??? He said he would get us a settlement figure on our outstanding finance and call me with options etc.
Sunday = no call so went on the Brentford site and filled in a 'request for contact' section, repeating all details again.
Monday = no call from Walton. No call from Brentford.
AUDI, DO YOU WANT MY MONEY????
