It looks like the thead you posted does not cover the Touran.

Where is the coin tray(there seems to be lots of cubby holes in the touran)?

As you sit in the driver seat, look on the dash around the area of your right knee (below the headlight switch). From memory there's a cubby/tray that pulls open. Reach to the back of the tray and bend the plastic tab that's holding the tray in place and it should open fully.
