Hi all, I am new to the forum. I live in weston super mare and drive an A6 CVT. 2.4 petrol.
The heater motor has stopped working and a local garage has disconnected it as it was blowing the fuse. I have been quoted £400 for replacement. I would like to remove it and see if it can be freed before I pay for a replacement. I believe it is behind the glove box but not sure. Can anyone tell me how to remove it.

Many thanks

hi, if the motor is behind the glovebox its pretty easy to remove, when i changed the one on my old a4 i removed the glovebox completely, then underneath you can see the motor,i think its 3 screws that hold it in and a blck plug for the electrics,i bought a replacement from ebay for £75,it was a valeo brand new unit, which i believe is the same as the original but obviously rebadged.

Many thanks for that. I will give it a try. I will try ebay for a replacement if I can't get it to work. I will try to ease it first,

Thanks again
