Aircon Blowing warm A4 1.8t

Hi All,

I have a problem with the Aircon on my 2004 A4 1.8t blowing warm and looking for some ideas?

I have had it check for alarm codes but nothing showed up, I was told the large pipe would go cold when the aircon is switched on but this does not happen, I got a DIY regas kit with pressure gauge thinking this my be the problem but the pressure is actually too high. Would this cause it to blow warm?

I've pulled the glove box out and checked the fans and vents are all ok.

Any ideas why it would blow warm air even on LO setting?

Might be the compressor but needs a specialist check I wouldsay

i would have the system checked for leaks and a re-gass by a specialist.

This weekend I have experienced the same problem on my 2004 A4 cabriolet. The ECON light in the climate control is on permanently. The last time this happened two years ago, it was sorted by having the aircon system re-gassed by Audi service centre.
