Chaps,

Been in France since earlier in the week and some observations...

- 3G MMI Nav is great in France. There digit codes work perfectly. Drove straight into the centre of Paris with no probs at all. Hotel, car park and diversions all handled well, better than UK me thinks.
- This one in a better cruiser by far compared to my previous B7. Roads a car free as ever and toll road surfaces are whisper quiet.
- drove down to Loire yesterday to fav vineyard and now have the odd bottle or two in the boot. Car handles the boot full of fluid very well.
- MPG.......ave'd at the mo 45.4 with all the urban driving in Paris and tolls at 80mph. Not bad for an auto.

All in all first trip abroad in this one and very impressed.

Guys,

I pick up my 2.0tdi quattro tecknik next week - it doesn't have the xenon lights, just the standard ones. Am possibly going abroard in the summer can I convert mine through the mmi? or is it only possible with xenon and/or vcds?
