I bought a 2007 A6 a few years back and its the 2.0 Tdi manual and its been nothing but trouble.

first 12months:
Clutch and Dual Mass Flywheel changed
Tandem Pump Changed
Oil Cooler Changed
Intercooler Changed as Split

2nd 12months
Clutch and Dual Mass Flywheel changed (AGAIN!!)

and now my turbo is making the turbo stall noise that sounds like "Do Do do do do"
a friend mechanic has just told me that the reason for these problems is
caused by the Speedhawk Chip i had fitted when i got the car because the company that fitted it never fitted a bypass valve? they should have as my car has a varible vane turbo and ive been over boosting?

Any Idea's?

I think some of the components cant cope with the extra BHP the remap is putting out.

Maybe your turbo has had it then. Try a turbo mechanic and get diagnosis.

are you sure it is turbo stall.

It is more likely the boost pipe to the intake manifold causing the resonator to well resonate too much. The resonator is supposed to dull the whooshing sound under boost and is a black box that looks like a small intercooler under the drivers headlamp (though it is a bumper off job to look at it).

As for your clutch problems, you were probably misdiagnosed. Was the 2nd clutch changed free of charge?
