Hi Guys I'm new on here so please be gentle!
I'm contemplating a 2007 A4 2.0T Quattro SE Sline Avant with just over 100k miles on the clock. The car has had one owner from new and a full Audi dealer service history.
Apart from the usual little things that can go wrong with motors with this mileage what else should I be on the look out for? Are there any components I should be looking to replace as a precaution?

Your thoughts would be most welcome on this car as I'm undecided at present.

Thanks

Wonderful cars, mated with the quattro drive it becomes ab absolute pleasure to drive.
Check for whining noises from the turbo, when going through the rev range. Any unusually loud noises COULD indicate the turbo's on its way out. Some turbo's however are always quite noisy.
Check the suspension bushes for wear...cant think of much else from the top of my head.
However, because its a 2007 and a 100k motor, i'd say its been motorway miles everywhere which if you don't know already, are the best sort of cars to buy. Any car thats been sitting on the motorway for the last three years is a car better than one driving around town stop start....

Saulmac- my car is fast approaching 100k miles and has been an absolute dream to drive, even if it is just FWD :)
As keemaklan says, my turbo failed at about 70,000miles and had a whooshing noise when I let up sharply on acceleration- other than that been extremely good to me.
Look in the service history to see if the coil packs have been changed as per an Audi campaign too and cambelt at 75,000 miles

i bought my 2006 2.0 TFSI quattro with 100k on it. its needed a rocker cover gasket and an ACF valve. both aren't expensive. if you can get under it check that the rear diff drive shaft seals aren't leaking. i've had one quattro that did that
