On a 3.0l v6 would the fan switch effect the air con fan as my fan isn't working
it's a single fan system . The switch has for wires to it
Although I'm not familiar with your engine, the fact that your fan isn't working could affect the aircon by a high pressure trip because of lack of condensing,or perhaps by a lockout in the aircon control, try a direct 12v feed to the fan and see if its burnt out.

I've put 12v to the fan and it spins. I've changed the fan control module but still nothing
just to clarify for me rocky 76,is your aircon working?

Hi yes air con is working while driving but the compressor shuts of when idling.
Also the fan dosnt kick in when the car gets hot
I think you need a wiring diagram to establish what wags the fan, ie thermo switch etc, I think the air con is switching off because of its pressure because of no condensing.

The fan is controlled by the ECU, through the fan control module. You've checked the fan - OK. You've replaced the fan cotrol module; this now leaves the output from the ECU or a wiring fault.
