Hi guys
as above, can anyone recommend a roof bars for B7 Avant (with roof railigs). I've searched Internet and learnt that they vary quite a lot in terms of price. I'm looking for something reasonably priced and easy to fit. any advise appreciated
Thanks in advance

I've looked too - many on ebay but not sure about the quality of some of the cheaper ones

I have avant and use the Thule bars, they really are the best and have lots of attachments, the bike one for example, know loads of people that use that and all of them rave about it.

Not cheap but def the best (I had the genuine Audi ones for my last A3 and they're actually Thule units). I now keep them off the car, I take mounts off and store under boot floor and bars in boot, takes me less than 5 mins to assemble and fit

Thule are really very good as two stripes attests, the aero bars look the biz with the low profile mountings. Very very easy to fit too.

Thule Aero bars look like this - they are pretty expensive but quality with lockable bars make sense, oh and make sure you follow manufacturers fitting guide.

I use Atera Aero roof bars on mine. They are also an OM manufacturer. They are of the same quality and price as the Thule ones.
I've never had an ounce of trouble with them in 4 years of going to Ireland with a heavy roof box on. 5 minutes and they're on nice and securely. Hope that helps a little.
