It's a standard 2.0 tdi 140 s line. Did a twin exhaust recently. Got a drivers side back box for a 2.5 tdi b6 from euro car parts and welded it on and some customisation work. I'm pretty happy with the overall look of the car. Think it needs lowered slightly, was think eibach sportlines. Would also love an rs4 grill.

Thanks, I painted them a while back. Painted my b6 the same colour too when I had it. Here is a close up.

Most times I like the colour of the car, on a good day like the pics, I like it alot, but not as much on a dull day, but sure.

I had an Octavia the same colour so i know what you mean about dull days. however id does hide the dirt very well
Did you paint the calipers while they were still on the car, if so, is it as simple as just painting them with caliper paint, or is there lots of prep to do and a long wait for them to dry ?

I took the wheels off. They are dead easy to do. Just bought caliper paint or high temperature paint can't remember which. Just gave the calipers abit of a clean, then painted them, used a small bristle Childs paintbrush to go near the edges. Once painted put the wheels back on then left the car for and hour or 2 before being driven to ensure the were dry. Definitely worth doing. About an hours work.

Right, that is my Sunday sorted :)
Got to choose a colour though, I have a black A6, what colour do you think, maybe green ?

It's really personal choice. I went with blue for my b6 as it was crystal blue. Went for the blue again for my b7 as I still had the paint. For black I would've thought White, or silver. Maybe even gold. Or green as you said, red looks well but everyone has red. I think any colour will go with black really. Lots of choice, but if you do it and don't like it it is easily fixed, just paint them something else. Sorry wasn't much help in choosing a colour :-)

Very nice! Just my two cents...Red looks pretty awesome in brake caliper paint too! And get some tyre shine..makes the car look new, and only costs a few quid!
