I was planning on fitting a set of parking sensors to my '05 A3 (when it arrives), but was wondering if I'm going to experience any problems.
The kit itself is very good and is the kit that Aston Martin use on their retro-fits, because my brother works there and can get it discounted.
On my old car, a Mk4 Golf, it was just a case of connecting it to the reverse lights, but I've heard that the A3's have CAN bus wiring.
Can I connect it up in the same way, or will it be a lot more involved?

I just wired mine to the reverse light as you say, so you shouldn't have a problem.

For a guide to my installation, see http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=24339

Good luck and let us know how it goes. I'd be interested to know more about the Aston Martin sensors.

Extra load on canbus doesn't usually cause a problem (within reason!) it's when the load is less than expected that it switches the circuit off (led's for instance ).

I connected mine (for me not my wife !! ) to the reversing light and it works fine - 2006MY , 05reg.
