Stereo stopped working.

If it ain't one thing its another.
Has anybodys stereo just stopped working?
Took the dog out this morning and it was working fine but when i started the car up for my home journey, nothing.
The red background light is on but there's nothing else going on.
Any help appreciated.

Presuming you've got the radio code try doing a system re-set by disconnecting the battery for 1/2 an hour, this quite often sorts out random bugs like this.

or just take the radio out for a few minutes and put back in..

(thats if you have the tools..)
