Hi i'm a noob around here and sorry my first posts a question. Also a first time audi owner had a mercedes e class previously but loving our audi a6 apart from 1 niggly problem with when going over bumps i can feel it transfering through to the accelorater pedal. Is this normal characteristics of the car or do i have a problem if so can someone shed at bit of light on the issue please. The cars a 1.9tdi multitronic 03 plate. Had a diagnostic done last week just as a precuation really and it was clear.

regards Mark

Not much information there then. I suspect you have worn suspension bushes and you can feel them clunking. Bit strange that you think you feel it in the accelerator pedal I suggest you disclose the year, model, engine and mileage of the car.

Using my supersensory ninja powers I predict that it's an audi a6, 1.9tdi multitronic 03 plate . . . struggling to get the mileage though . . .

Missed that. That model and year had an electronic throttle so I doubt you are actually feeling it in the accelerator but you may feel it in the right heal through the floor pan. Again a sign of lower bushes/ball joints. Regards Peter

At this mileage, get all the front arms, track-rod ends and drop-links
checked-out.

ok guys thanks for the advice, i'll get that done asap. I've seen the full bush kits on ebay for about £130 just wondering if anyones fitted them and what they think of the quality??? seems a bit to cheap to me.

Cheap Chinese copies, you'll be changing them again within 12 months. Quality starts ar Lemforder OEM parts, click on 'All German Parts' on this site or even available from ECP. Regards Peter
