Headlights

I would appreciate advice on my Headlight range switch, 1 light is working but n/s is not working, How do I find out how to remove, clean and replace with new. Any help gratefully received.

Both motors on my 2003/4 Alhambra have failed at different times and been replaced in the last couple of years - Part no is 1J0 941 295A £30.92 plus vat at VW (may be a bit cheaper at SEAT but think most parts prices are aligned now across the group)
PM me your e-mail address and I'll forward on the h/l removal instructions and h/l assembly overview diagrams that another forum member so kindly sent me at the time- you need quite a long torx head screwdriver to reach the bottom h/l locating screws

While i remember, change the sidelight and indicator bulbs while the h/l is out saving future loss of blood and skin fighting the dreaded underwing trapdoor!!
