Scooter to an audi a4

Hi all, I just got an A4 :) I have wanted one for ages, certainly an upgrade from my scooter.

I am hearing this rattling sound from the back of the car, I think it might be the exhaust.

Does anyone know if i can handle this myself or do I need to take it to a garrage

Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question, this is my first car

Right, the rattle. Could a number of things....

Do you have anything loose in the boot ? Check under the carpet and in the spare wheel well.
Do you have a child seat in the back ? My sons rattles like a good 'un at certain speeds....

Have you tried wobbling the tailpipe/s ? watch out they are usually dirty and may be hot!
Could be a mount, silencer breaking up, heatshield rattling....

As above check out the boot and storage areas, you never know what may be lurking lol. It's likely something minor.

I'm guessing when you say scooter you mean something bigger than a 50cc-? If not the A4 must feel mental! A good choice the A4- what engine did you go for?

Rattling from the rear can be a number of things- check the side storage panels in the boot as well as they have a habit of making noise if not secured properly.
