Hello,

I have an issue that cannot be solved by the Audi Officials in my country, and I need to find a way to contact somebody from outside.

I have just bought a new S4 B8 and it soon required some service work. The problem is related with a missing part from my front grille - the part simply didn't arrive to be mounted. I am from Romania, and although the people from one of the Audi authorized services here did their best, they cannot help - it seems the part cannot be ordered from the manufacturer because the parts software does not allow it.

The officials from Porsche Romania (importers of the Audi brand) confirmed this problem but mentioned that they cannot solve it. Dead end. Incredible!

Now here I am, driving a brand new S4, having payed a ton of money for it, with a missing grille. This is really embarrassing for a premium brand, such as Audi.

Is there any way to contact Audi AG - has anyone ever had this problem? (although I doubt somebody in UK could come across something like this). Contacting them on audi.de doesn't solve anything as the email is redirected to local representatives.

I really count on you people,

Vlad

If we had that situation in the UK, we'd return the car (i.e. dump it on their property) with a letter stating that we're rejecting the car.

I don't know what your rules are.

Maybe it's worth contacting Audi UK Customer Services and explaining you just need contact details at Audi HQ in Germany. They may be able to help.

It's a rediculous situation. Surely you have laws against supplying something that isn't what you paid for ..... or could they have given you a diesel A1 after you paid for an S4? Obviously not so I'm not sure why this is any different.

Have they got any other S4's in stock? If so demand they change the grill over.

the complete grill is missing??? Thats awful, and as said above, there's no way that could/ would happen here!!

I'd be contacting Audi Germany for help!

Hah, that sounds very customer oriented, aka how it should be, but it's not the case in here. The rules are officially pretty much the same, but I reckon by the time justice would be done I would be walking, instead of driving, for well more than an year :)

They don't have any S4s in stock, and it's not like they are not acknowledging the problem - it's worse - they're confirming that an issue exists but they are stating that they are unable to solve or provide any further support in this matter - in other words it's like they're asking me to go over to Audi in Germany.

If you think it's worthwhile contacting support in the UK then I'll definitely do it. Do you know any direct ways of doing that, or should I just use the form on the site - last time this didn't help me very much.

Thanks a lot,

Vlad

Not the complete grille, just a part of it. The part that goes around the small front fog light. As you look at the car, the one in the left is present, the one on the right is not. And they cannot order this part from the manufacturer because "the system" won't let them.

I'd be contacting Audi in Germany as well... But how to do it? The form on the site redirects my request to local representatives - with whom I've already been chatting with.

Sounds like you need to make a phone call to Germany (where im sure they will have English speaking employees) and get a direct email address, or maybe someone here will be able to provide you with one.

Dont use the online 'form' just call up and get a rep's direct email address and send as usual mail from your account. Surely there is a number on the Germany Audi HQ website and an email address i would imagine. If the only thing they have is a contact page then its going to have to be a phonecall.

Good luck

Why do you not take the left one off, it is only just clipped in and it takes 2 seconds! and read the part number off it! Then e-mail Audi AG in Germany direct quoting your chassis number and asking the part number of the opposite (side) part and ask them to supply you with the correct part.

OR stick the part number into your internet search engine and see what tips up!

I would think that any decent dealership would be able to find the correct info! (wether they can physically get one is another question!!?!!)

Sounds like someone somewhere cannot really be arrsed sorting the prob out.

Hi,

Thanks everyone for their support, apparently it was some probelem with thr service software used by all dealers.

I was dissapointed, still, by Audi support. I managed to contact them, but they never really provided me with the feedback or asked about how the problem was solved, or if,
