I had my windscreen replaced a few months ago and I have just come to the realisation that my auto lights are not so sensitive. There literally has to be blazing sunshine for the lights to NOT come on. I have only just noticed as during the winter months I drive mainly in the dark anyway. Before I take this up with the windscreen company I just thought I'd find out if there is anyway of adjusting the sensitivity using VCDS / VAG COM? And can I get to the sensor without having to physically remove the glue that sticks the mirror to the windscreen ( I am assuming the daylight sensor is in there somewhere). Thanks for any advice.

Thanks for that, looks like it could be useful.

Do report back on how you get on with coding/checking the windscreen
Will do but it may be a while as I am toying with the idea of buying VCDS come payday.
