Hi All

Trying to find second hand Symphony II unit. The part number on mine is
8EO 035 195 CX. All the ones I have found so far look the same but the part number is always different.

So my question are these other units suitable or not as i have said they all look the same but are they:(

Thanks

Allen

Hey Allen,
8E0 035 195 is the important bit I think. 8E0 will ensure B6/B7 chassis model (right shape of faceplate to fit), numbers will get right part, C will refer to the model revision I would think, earlier in the alphabet = older than yours, later in alphabet later release/revision. And I'm pretty sure the X refers to a factory refurbished/exchange unit so not really relevant when sourcing an alternative. I would think you should pick one up without difficulty as plenty of folk swap these out for RNS-E.
Cheers,
M

Thanks Mini

So does this mean I can replace

8EO 035 195 CX with 8E0 035 195M ?

If you have not found one yet, I purchased one from: EUROPAPARTS.COM (http://EUROPAPARTS.COM), which is located in Linden, New Jersey USA. My parts man was Daniil Babaev, who I cannot speak highly enough of. It cost under $45 US and that included 2-day shipping to my door. The Unit is sold as re-manufactured. It is new. The re-manufactured part has to do with it's hardware and software tweek back in 2008. Nice. And Perfect.

Now, if your car happens to be wired for XM SAT, you can get the necessary Audi module for another $44. Oh My!

The part number on mine is: 8E0 035 195 A. A Few days ago Daniil had choices...
