Hi there,

I am starting to have problems on my A4 2.0l TDI 2005 where the LCD screens sometimes disappears and then reappears. This is becoming more and more common and more and more annoying. Does anyone have any ideas as to a possible fix ? I really don't want to take it to a dealer as they probable will tell me to change the whole cluster which will be expensive. I know that the weather recently has been very cold, would that effect it ?

Thanks for looking.

Regards,

Matt

hi

i think i have the same problem as you. i have a 2005 tdi, and last week the colour dis along with the clock/date display and the mileage display stopped working. they came on briefly a day later but soon went off again and have'nt been on since. all the other instrumentation is fine.
is this the same fault as yours?
my brother works for vw, and he is taking to a friend of his at audi later today to have a look.
i'll let you know what he says....

Hi all,

Thanks for all your replies. Hopefully it would be too expensive.
