2006 passat single cd changer

Has anyone had problems withe the single cd changer displaying an error message after playing 1 or 2 tracks of ANY cd, and the ejecting the cd?

A single CD changer? RCD300?
It may help if you told us what the error message said?

Basically, if your discs are in good condition, then it must be a faulty unit. Take it to your VW dealer and get it replaced under warranty.

In case you use your own CD backups (burn your CDs), change the media brand, it may help.
