Eratic idle on 1995 glof 1.4

Hi When starting it's fine, touch the throttle & revs increase to 2500 - 3000
After driving a while it calms down but idles poorly at between 800 & 1000 rpm
If the throttle is touched it takes a second or two to come down off revs
Can any one help

I think you need to clean and readapt the throttle body
