Hi all
Just bought new luks DMF and clutch kit with slave cylinder for my passat 2.0 tdi sport.Just a couple of questions.
Will I need new bolts or can they be reused because I can't find any supplied or do you have to buy them separately.
Is the release bearing included in the clutch kit or will that be a separate item. Was told it was included but can't find it is it attached to clutch already
Thanks

Make sure you replace the 6 bolts thy hold your CV joint onto the gear box. Long start short, after my DMF and clutch were changed, the bolts weren't replaced with new ones and I ended up with a hole in the gear box!

You need to buy the release bearing as an extra. The DMF should have the clutch assembled on it. The kit should contain new DMF to flywheel bolts.

It came in three boxes
clutch
DMF
Slave cylinder
No bolts
Got it from my local motor factors £500
When I phoned he said bearing was included already attached
Or something along them lines is this possible.
Can I not use the bolts twice
Any help appreciated don't want to
Turn up at the garage with half the parts
Thanks
Ps what does the release bearing look like

Yes on 2.0 the slave cylinder and release bearing are all in one. Why did you not buy the DMF/clutch complete unit. It is easier to fit and comes with the bolts for fitting it.
