A4 CABRIOLET Windscreen trim

On the cab there is a clip in trim on the top of the windscreen (looks like the black rubber surround).
Anyway somehow my came loose, and came off on the motorway!!

Audi want £403 for a replacement, does any one know of a cab breaking for spares where I can get this strip??

iv just got rid of a brand new full set
but iv seen a few on ebay

I have just had the same problem - did you have any luck getting a replacement and how easy was it to fit. Audi say it comes complete with the bright metal trim and takes two hours to fit.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I eventually got a new trim second hand on Ebay for £50, local VW (non dealer) garage fitted it for £65.
