Hi,
I need to service my car but not sure what sparkplugs are best to go for.
I have a 16v ABF with ported polished head as well as inlet and outlet manifolds, shrick fast road cams, miltek sports cat, sebring exhaust and a 57i filter in custom enclosure with 2 cold air feeds and she gives me 198bhp on the rollers.
I currently have bosch platin F5 DPOR plugs fitted which helped smooth out the idle but do take a few turns to fire up when cold, its just the price of £10.50 each plus vat that puts me off getting them again.
With so many makes and types can anyone recommend something else?
Cheers

I.just go for oe plugs, like the Bosch tri node ones. I'm dubious of how much benefit of having a large spark is. It's either going to ignite and burn if fuel is mixed with the air properly it will combust and if it doesn't something isn't working correctly. Save the wasted energy and spare your ht system some wear imo.
