My Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI 2003 intermittantly has a drop off in performance. getting to 70 takes forever and there is little acceleration. A friend in the trade has read the codes and we are agreed that the pressure sensor appears to be at fault.
Fault codes were read as follows:
1 - 17965 - Turbo pressure control (control limit exceeded) (P1557) Error occurs intermittant.
2 - 17563 Manifold pressure sensor - G71, short with power (P1155)
Are we right, is this sensor located in the Air Mass Sensor and what do the P codes mean?
