Seat Ibiza 2010 1.6Tdi Sport Paint Problem

Hi All,

I've recently purchased 3 Seat Ibiza for our sales fleet (1 1.6Tdi Sport 106ps and 2 x 1.2 Tdi EcoMotive 75ps) all in black.

We had the valeter in yesterday to clean the fleet vehicles and to my surprise the paint was flaking off the drivers door sill on the 1.6 Sport, so much so that when the vehicle was pressure washed its left a 12 inch strip of bare metal on the sill (pic attached). Which is now starting to corrode.

Now i trust my valeter and given that the other vehicles in the fleet are fine, i am sure it wasnt damage by him, also there is no damage to the sill. If you run the paint with a finger around the bare metal it simply flakes off.

I've emailed the dealer as i would think its more of a paint defect than damange, but would be interested to know your thoughts.

I cant see paint flaking off just because of somethin the valeter did. If the other two are ok the sport one must have a ***** spray job done on it. I have got the same car just in orange and I havent noticed anything like this. Back to the dealer me thinks.
