Retrofit heated seats 8P A3

My car is a 3 door 2004 8P A3 SE.

Can anyone confirm if its possible to fit S-Line seats from a 2007 3 door car into my SE spec car?
Would I need to VAG com the seat air-bags/pre-tenioners or will this simply plug in to the same outlet as the existing SE spec seats?

The S-Line seats are heated and I would like to install this into my car without heated seats. I know I'll need a new climate control unit with the heated seat switches and wiring from the seats to the switches - as I suspect this has been done before can anyone give me any previous links please for tips, parts and advice?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Yes, you'll need VAGCOM to erase any fault codes you might generate while everything is unplugged, and to tell the 'car' that heated seats now present so it doesnt generate more fault codes.

www.kufatec.de usually sell the wiring loom you need, although its not too hard to DIY.

Hi kevin, just a word of warning when your on the look out for S-Line seats, they are not all heated so if you do decide to buy some make sure you know the car they are from has heated seats.

Would anyone like to elaborate, post a wiring diagram.

I have an A3 which has had the S-Line interior with the seats not connected and I would love to connect them.
