hi can anyone help i have a serious battery drain on my 1996 polo diesel 1.9d
i fitted a fully charged and checked battery to my polo and started the car, all clocks reset to 0 but it stayed running 20 mins later i tried to restart to find it was drained and wouldnt start but did try i.e starter motor turning slowly.
i have fitted a new starter motor cleaned all earths and swapped the battery,
i have wondered if the alternator is suspect.
any ideas would be welcome
