I bought my cable for £15 from a chinese ebay seller, and it works fine.

If I'd know at the time that Gendam do them for £20, I'd have paid the extra £5 for one with a guarantee that it'll work! At the time, I either didn't know enough about vagcom, or about Gendam, or they didn't do them.

Gendan then - get the cable, job done. As some wise and kind soul told me last week before I ordered. Interestingly, it's not an official Ross-Tech cable and reports as such in VCDS lite, but the Gendan tech support on getting the damn thing working on my netbook that has bluetooth was first rate and within 10 mins of speaking to them I was operational.

Big thumbs up from me, and I bet you they will post it if you call them...

Cheers,
Dan.
