Garage Door Opener Homelink

Has anyone had the above option fitted. If so how does it work. I assume that something will connect to the garage door opener contact switch.

I had this fitted to my A8 and it only had to be programmed to the existing door opener. I got the instructions from the home-link website.

Thanks Jim, I have found our that my American door opener runs on 390MHz and is not compatible but I can purchase a new receiver that will wire up to the push button on the wall and will work with Homelink.
