Hello all.
I have just been to my service agent to get a quote for my car's second service.
It's a 2.0 Tdi CR 140(Nov 2008) on longlife service.I was quoted €180 for engine oil, filter and pollen filter change. The car has done 60,000km so the pollen filter is due to be changed.
I had gathered from Martin's very helpful posts that the brake fluid does not need to be changed until the car is 3 years old,and every 2 years thereafter, and that the coolant does not need to be changed all.
So,just to be mischievous,I said "what about the brake fluid".
He said that they were currently doing a deal where they change the brake fluid and coolant for €60.
Why are the service agents not aware of what needs to be done when service time comes around?
