Please Help, Glow Plug Flashing (2005 VW 2.0 TDI Passat)

Hi Folks,

I recently bought my 2005 Passat 2.0 tdi, I has 140k miles on the clock, but has only 1 previous owner and has been serviced by VW. I was on the motor way yesterday, when there was a beep and the car screen read "Engine Fault Garage" and the glowplug light started flashing, the car also went into safe mode. After I pulled up did some shopping and then started it 30 mins later, it was as if nothing had happened and all was ok. :1zhelp:
