My dad's old T-plate Mk.3 Estate has holes in both lenses of the headlamps, and they're full of water :banghead:

I've finally persuaded him to replace them, and got the parts off ebay. What's the best way to go about removing the lamps? I'm at uni at the moment so can't go and have a look at the car but would like to start with at least some idea of what I need to do!

Also been thinking about trying to sort out the dent in the front wing. How easy is it to change a wing? It's got quite a bit of rust on it where the paint has been removed from it rubbing on the driver's door (which is also starting to rust) and I'd like to have a go fixing it up. My Polo hasn't got anything wrong with it (at the moment!) so I've moved onto his car :biglaugh:

I think the headlights are held on by a couple/few bolts, the trick is that one or two of them are behind the plastic trim piece (body coloured) that is below the radiator "grill" part (black?). You have to release a clip each side with a screwdriver or similar, pull the trim off and you can get to the headlights easily after that. All IIRC.

Ok, I'll take a look, thanks.
