i think that might depend on the spec / engine of your car, so maybe, but also maybe not

my car is 1.4 aex

check to see if 1.4 aex is in the manual anywhere, if it isnt, you will need the later edition

The Haynes doesn't cover the AEX very well. I am not impressed compared with other Haynes manuals I have, I think they have tried to cover all the possibilities but the mix of engines in the Mk3 has left the coverage short.
