1994 2.0 16v Audi Coupe 236600 miles

Hi i found this dangling down in the engine bay bracket with an electrical switch attached cant see where it should be fixed too does anybody know what it is and where should it fit.


Also the car has an engine misfire when warming up but is fine when warm could this be part of the problem.

What engine code do you have then?

Heres where the sensor goes on an 8v ABK, not sure what its for, i'll have a look on ETKA for you. (Circled in red)

The engine code is ACE

It is a temperature sensor for the fan run on. Erath the wire within a few minutes of the ignition having been on (ignition off) and the fan should run.

No, it bolts to the head, well the inlet manifold.
