The cars due the MOT soon and it needs rear springs so I want to take advantage and get it lowered slightly.
Is it worth getting sports springs or just go for aftermarket ones?
What iwould you recommend for aftermarket springs? I was looking at eibach but are they any good?

If you have sports suspension, leave it as it is, eibach are very good but you will need new shocks to make use of their full potential. Thats what i have on mine -if you close to London pop over for a drive...

What size wheels are you running too? The 16" just don't look right

I am running Eibach Pro on Sachs rs4 genuine shocks on 18" rs4 alloys with 225/40/18 tyres 8" wide ET 35 as winter wheels. The fronts are very, very close to the calipers (running 4 pot 330mm brakes up front, rs4 b5 rear 312mm vented brakes) and i had to grind a small edge off the calliper just to get the required clearance- i dont fancy spacers. I also have audi a8 fat five wrapped in 235/40/18 8.5" wide ET 45 wich clear the calipers fine but rub on the back so they require 10mm spacers. Fronts are fine. I also have ABT Sportsline 18" alloys 8.5" wide ET35 wich i am refurbing as summer wheels- these clear the front brakes nicely and fill the arces properly. Mine started life as a lowly 150 Bhp quattro sport, i swapped the engine to a 180 Bhp AKE lump tweaked with Garrett 2559 v turbocharger and Iveco nozzles + a PSI tunning box. It goes like stink... I also have a BV 50 turbocharger off the 3.0 Tdi v6 audi a6 233 Bhp wich will go in this summer- should have less lag than the renault one i have at the moment but similar results + Bosio race 683 nozzles for 300 Bhp at the wheels

Someone has been busy! I'll give you a call next time I'm down your way. :D
Incidentally, I'm using the 'standard' Audi Sportline kit on my Quattro.

forgot to ask is there an easy way of telling if I have sports suspension?
