Trying to get a bit of info on what I should be looking for when I purchase bushes for my Coupe.
I've heard of soild sub frame bushes.
Are they much better than normal and where can I get them?

hi mate you should be able to get powerflex bushes for your car they are 'solid' type bush and will last a long time, ive fitted some to my front wishbones on my golf and it sharpens up the front end, have a look on ebay and you should find what you need mate

Oh, it that all it is?
I was under the impression it was something a little different which was a different shape and properly solid.
Well thats easy sorted then. Was ordering powerflex for the rest of the bushes on the car.
Cheers mate

There are solid alloy subframe bushes available, not used them myself, but heard that they can cause a 'loss of refinement' due to bumps etc transmitting through the suspension.
Also heard from others that they are happy with them. On balance I would go with powerflex or similar, there is at least some 'give' built in?

Just use standard subframe bushes but they are a swine to press out and in without the special tool.
