Roof Bars

Audi Friends....

I've just taken delivery of a new A4 Avant in red with the 'Black Styling Pack'.

Although the car looks great I think I prefer chrome roof bars rather than the blackened ones which come with the pack.

So I wondered if it's possible to purchase a chrome pair and have them fitted without much agro.

Does anyone have any ideas on the availabiliy, fitting costs, etc..?

Has anyone had experience of removing/changing the factory fit roof bars on a B8 Avant?

I'm afraid not. The only thing I've ever seen about roof bars is some guys in the states using a black tape to cover the chrome rails. :(

I think that you will find that its a "remove the head lining job".

"Roof lining off job".... Now that's beginning to worry me a bit...!

Perhaps the black bars aren't so bad after all...!

Anyone got any chrome gaffer tape?!
