Today once again we have had heavy snow, unfortunatley I have had to venture into north Yorkshire today towards helmsley.

A few weeks ago I replaced my useless in snow Michelin ps3's with a pair of vridenstein Wintrac extremes £170 each from a local supplier.

Today they earned their money, I had to attack inclines that had up to 8 inch of fresh snow on them with no drama. My old Tyres were defeated by 2 inch of snow on the flat. The rear end is still fitted with michelins , so the opposite lock action is frequent & excessive. It drives like an escort in the 1977 rac rally.

I will now have to wait for some rears, but the car has gone from zero to hero in my eyes.

nice.
in moscow we have snowy winter this time.
i always change summer and winter tires every season, otherwise it is quite experience, looking at people who drive with summer tires, sliding off the road. audi quattro does the job, really enjoy it.
392 accidents in November after first snow fall, only during weekend..

I have exactly the sane tyres. they are brilliant in winter weather :) These pics (posted before) were taken up Winter Hill near Bolton (there is a telly transmitter on the top). It was quite a steep road to get up here :D
