Hi all got an 2000 audi a4 tdi facelift model with corrupt cluster/dashclock which wont start due to immobilizer problem too..
Anyway I was told by a guy that if I gave me the ecu of the car he could get a guy to turn off the immobilizer in these so I could get the vehicle started and then it would take any similar dashclock –wouldn’t need to match numbers etc
Can this be done successfully ? he looking for 110 quid for this
Any advice appreciated
Have it repaired

Im in Bangor, ill not advertise myself as ill get a slap in the wrist but you cant use VCDS to take out the immobiliser. I have used the re man blokes before but failing that, the only one I know of is these blokes. Is this one yours ?

mmm, to be honest, I have never heard of the immob being removed on them. You might be better to go down the replacement route. Daft question but are you SURE its the dash at fault ?
