Due to snow and ice I recently kerbed my wife's A3 (1.9 diesel - 2007) hard on the fornt off side wheel. At the time the wheel had a graze but otherwise everything seemd OK but since this unfortunate incident I've noticed two things. Firstly when you hold the steering straight it veers slightly to the right and the other thing which is concerning me is that at speeds of over 40 there's a droning sound which gets worse when you build up speed and ease of the accelerator, you can even feel it from the floor. i Know the steering will be sorted by having the tracking done, in fact have had the front tie rod and track rod end replaced just in case but the noise still persists. It may be that the front wheel that got kerbed my be slightly buckled but I wouldn't have thought this could be causing the noise, so before I take it to the dealers anybody offer any possible explanations.
